Nueva versión de Python para S60 1.9.0

Según se ha informado en los Foros de Nokia, la nueva versión de Python para Symbian S60 ya se encuentra disponible. En este caso se trata de la versión 1.9.0, viene de la 1.4.5, y las mejoras que incluye son las siguientes:

• Self signed device binaries for S60 3rd Ed and S60 3rd Ed FP2 (which will work even on S60 3rd Ed FP1 and S60 5th Ed devices respectively).
• Installer for Windows platform that includes:

1. Getting started guide
2. PyS60 runtime sis
3. PythonScriptShell sis
4. Application packaging tool with GUI and README
5. Python HTML documentation updated with S60 module reference

• Archive package for Linux/Mac that includes:

1. PyS60 runtime sis
2. PythonScriptShell sis
3. Application packaging tool with README
4. Python HTML documentation updated with S60 module reference

• Python source code
• OpenSSL source code
• PyQt source code

Como podemos ver esta versión tiene disponible la opción de descarga tanto para FP1 y FP2, esta última compatible también con la S60 5ª edición a la que pertenece el Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
