Symbian dominates the market for Mobile OS

After publishing, Gartner, a table of results on operating systems for mobile where we can see the progress of consolidation in the market during 2008.
We see that among the 6 major mobile operating systems (Symbian, RIM, WinME, MacOSX, Linux and Palm OS) that stands out is Symbian which is in first place but has lost market share, like, Linux and WinMo over other platforms such as MacOSX and Palm to the contrary have increased.
