Fring: now also Gmail and Facebook (fringadd-on)

July 11th, 2008 | by Cento

fring_logo.jpg On numerous occasions we have had the opportunity to speak about Fring, an application that can make IP calls (Fring, Skype) to others to be able to connect with some instant messaging clients (MSN, GTalk) .

Now available are the first Adds-on (package of services to customize and improve the performance of application) of Fring, these are: Gmail Notifier, Facebook, Orkut, vTap videos, and Yandex.mail.

With this it is clear that Fring is increasingly becoming consolidated in the field of "Social Networking".

For those who want to activate these services must be running the latest version of Fring and then follow the following route:

restart fring -> click Options -> settings-> manage adds-on and choose who you want to be activated!
