Synchronize agenda Mac OS X with Gmail contacts

June 3rd, 2008 | by Operator

Address_Book.png The Leopard that you use with your Mac, I guess last week upgraded to the newest version of OS 10.5.3. This new update has brought between improvements, a very interesting, allowing us to synchronize our calendar with the contacts on Gmail and default with our nokia through isync.

The only downside is it is for those who have ever timed an I-phone or an iPod Touch. However, people have come to question and simply with this line terminal is fixed to the other users:

defaults write com.apple.iPod Devices-dict-add red-herring '( "Family ID" = 10001;)'

Then we go to the preferences of the agenda and generally see that Google appears to us, we put our data from our Gmail account and go.

* Eye, we recommend to back up the agenda so as to synchronize Gmail before, to prevent unwanted shocks and timings. In my case the first sync was disastrous, because of the inclusion of multiple mail addresses that did not interest me.

Because synchro SALE ONLY if you have an ipod touch or iphone. You should put the line in the terminal, replacing the quotes with normal quotes (single or double, as appropriate), and the option is enabled.

    Write it like this:

    defaults write com.apple.iPod Devices-dict-add red-herring "(" Family ID "= 10001;)"
